Director of Strategy and Corporate Development

A successful Director of Strategy and Corporate Development has very strong financial background, experience with SaaS businesses and strong analytical skills, who enjoys tackling new challenges in a fast-paced, growing environment. This is a new role in which you’ll help to define the scope of this function, as well as drive forward strategic initiatives and potential transactions.
The role will be based in Boston, Massachusetts
  • Co-develop and drive strategy together with CEO, CFO and executive team.
  • Create financial models, conduct accurate and complete valuation analysis and market analysis.
  • Develop a robust business plan to meet company’s milestones.
  • Identify, segment and evaluate potential opportunities.
  • Drive all aspects of the corporate finance transactions.
  • Represent bpm’online at various negotiations, including business terms discussions, as well as financial and legal negotiations.
  • Implement internal processes to comply with standards and regulations required in different geographies, where bpm’online is operating.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics required (MBA would be an advantage).
  • 5+ + years experience and strong record of accomplishment in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking (or other transaction-advisory services firms) and/or corporate strategy and corporate development
  • Experience in software, especially SaaS businesses would be an advantage.
  • Strong quantitative ability with extensive experience in financial modeling and strategic analysis required.
  • Extremely strong written and oral skills and ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to negotiate financial and legal deal terms.
