bpm'online update package 7.14.4

We are happy to introduce a new update package for bpm’online products, which features even more improvements and enhancements.

The new version updates include:

Marketing campaigns. The process of importing data from Excel will now resume automatically in case it has been stopped due to restarting the application or flushing Redis cache. What’s more, users can manually stop importing data using the "Process Log" section.

Import from Excel. The mobile app will now sync with the core bpm'online application much faster. Also, dashboards filtered by “day”, “week” and “month” will now display data taking into account user’s timezone.

Administration. It became much easier to view the history of changes for individual system records. Using a record edit page, users can open the change log as well as compare data before and after applying the changes.

Development tools. Users can now create details with multiple values (connection of “many-to-many”) using a separate junction table. For example, multiple values are available for selection in the “Activity results” lookup.

Mobile application. We’ve extended the mobile app functionality for a more effective work on the go:

  • The mobile app now displays custom summary columns (e.g., the total number of records, total sum, etc.) that were configured in the core application. When displaying the summaries, bpm’online applies the filters that have been specified for the section. This functionality is available in both online and offline modes.
  • We have implemented a universal hyperlink format to bpm’online pages. Users can now open bpm'online links on a mobile device in both browser and mobile app. When you tap a bpm’online link on a mobile device that does not have bpm’online mobile app installed, the link will open in the web browser.
  • When working with subordinate folders in the mobile app, users can now switch back to the previous hierarchy level.

You can find the guide on how to update bpm’online on-site using the new utility here.
